Just finished reading your book in my car during a 2hr intermission. I am in awe! So powerful! So needed! What a testimony! You took me back through time. I can hear Elder Hutton shouting out in unison with the congregation, "I can do all things through Christ whom strengthens me. Christ is the answer." Very proud of the transformation in you thats abundantly evident in this book. Also, Grateful to our Lord for it all. I will admit that there were times that I had to break from my reading as I wept, but the tears streaming now are of joy. I am so inspired by your triumphant victory with Jesus. Keep doing His will and walking in His favor and blessings"
"I received the book "My Pretty... and Its Ugly Truth" and couldn't wait to read it. My daughter told me that the book would be a quick and interesting read and that I'd love it. I was reading a TD Jakes book at the time, thinking I'd swap in the reading materials, but once I started reading De'Vonna's book I couldn't stop reading it. I was done with it within three days. This book is definitely a page turner. I've been bragging about this book to my co-workers and now I have people coming up to me asking "if they can they download it on their E-Reader, or if they can order the book". My co-worker even told me she peaked at my book and has now ordered her own copy. I would recommend this book to anyone. "What else can I say but......WOW!!! I finished this book in 4 hours because I just could NOT put it down! It takes alot of strength to be able to talk about sexual abuse, let alone write about it for the world to see. Mrs. Bentley Pittman draws you into her world and keeps you on the edge of your seat. This book made me cry, smile and praise GOD!! It gives me the courage to confront and deal with demons that have been buried SO deep, even I have forgotten they were there. The truth can be an UGLY thing...but as we can tell from this book...it also will set you FREE!!!! Kudos"
